Well theoretically, if nds-bootstrap became 1:1 to a DS then games would detect it as such; a DS (as compared to an emulator/flashcart, which triggers anti-piracy). Now, whether or not nds-bootstrap will ever reach that point is questionable (and entirely up to how far the developers want to go with this project.) P.S. What I mean by questionable is, by playing a game not on its cartridge, you're inherently not playing the game 1:1 on a DS (for instance, save files go onto the SD card instead of on to the game cart).
