I have run into an issue where all of the packages that I create and try to install through SMS 2003 are unable to install with evelvated privileges. As a result, the installations complete, but the programs have problems (missing components, bad links, etc). They are unusable. All of these packages use MSI files and are set to run under the user's permissions. The users are admins on their PCs and they also have read/execute access to the distibution point. I verified that running the same execution command from explorer that SMS uses works just fine. So it has to do with SMS.
